Enjoy All-Star parking at one of many parking garages surround the College Basketball Experience – but allow plenty of pre-game time to find the right spot. The attached map highlights suggested parking.
Pre-Game Festivities:
If you’ve ever wondered if could stroke a three-pointer in a pair of 3-inch peep-toe heels, or if an athletic cut suit really enhances your game, you’ll finally get your answer by testing your skills at one of the many interactive exhibits at The College Basketball Experience. Arrive early to check out all the facility has to offer before the awards ceremony begins.
GKC PRSA will host an all-star reception for sponsors and an open cocktail and networking hour for all attendees.
Halftime Entertainment:

Wait…What’s that? You don’t like tedious entertainment in the middle of an awards program?

Play-By-Play
All-star moments require MVP announcers, and our event will be no different.
Dickie V might be the top dog in college play-by-play, but we all know he prefers the ACC to the Big 12.
Who needs an East Coast bias when Big 12 country is filled with lottery picks?
Nationally recognized media relations expert and recently transplanted Kansas Citian Margo Mateas will provide the soundtrack for our celebration of Kansas City’s PR big shots.
Margo is an award-winning writer, 20-year PR industry veteran and former newspaper and radio journalists. She writes the monthly “Media Relations Maven” column for PRSA Tactics and has traveled across the country helping organizations of all types and sizes sharpen their pitching and placement skills. She is the recipient of PRSA’s Polaris Award.
